Where it exists, unless we move away from a ‘command and control’ style of leadership, we will lose our people and struggle to compete in a changing world.
Where there is high uncertainty and low agreement, managers and supervisors will need positive leadership skills to avoid chaos.
As a Manager or Supervisor of a team of people it is important to be aware of how people and their expectations have changed over the years. No longer is a “Command and Control” approach either effective or desirable. In order to survive in an increasingly competitive world, we all need to adapt our management style.
Leadership and the way we look after our people in business has continued to be “different” over the last 10 – 20 years. We’ve had to learn to do things differently in order to survive. This webinar incorporates both the use of mindfulness practices and anti-racism discussions on how implicit biases arise from lack of racial awareness and privilege(s).
